 Weigh Ins:      Honor System-must be within three pounds of registered weight if challenged in order to continue wrestling

Madison Weight System used for bracketing. Wrestlers may enter in more than one division (wrestle up a division only).  

Start Times:    Pee Wee/Bantam/Midget/Junior, 8:30am      Intermediate/High School, 1:00pm

Bout Length:   Pee Wee/Bantam/Midget/Junior, 1-1-1          Intermediate/High School, 1-1.5-1.5

 

Entry Deadline: Early Entry- $25.00 per division, non-refundable

                                    MUST BE RECEIVED BY Monday, June 7, 2010.

                          Late Entry- $30.00 per division if received after June 7th and by June 17th

                                    ALL REGISTRATIONS MUST BE RECEIVED BY JUNE 17th

          Rules:              Scholastic Rules, Head Gear, Singlet or tight fitting clothing required. All wrestlers will wrestle at least 2 matches. Four mats will be used for entire tournament.

Awards:          Medals: 1st, 2nd, 3rd place

Admission:       $3 Adults/Coaches    $2 Seniors and Children under 12      Under 5 admitted free

Refreshments: Food and drinks available all day.

19th Annual Kittatinny Summer Tournament

                                      19th ANNUAL KITTATINNY SUMMER  WRESTLING TOURNAMENT

When:              Saturday July 24, 2010              Format is Round Robin this year!!!!!!

Where:             Kittatinny Reg. HS (Hampton TWP)

                              77 Halsey RD, Newton, NJ 07860

Registrations: $20.00 made payable to Hampton Sandyston Mat Club for pre-registration, $22.00 at the door for walk-ins.

Admission:     $3.00 Adult $2.00 Students and seniors, children under 2yrs are free.

All pre-registrations must be received by Tuesday July 20th, Mail to:

Divisions: (Age as of day of tournament. HS division for 2009/10 year)

                     6 & Under Start time 9:30am   -    8 & Under Start time 9:30am

                     10 & Under Start time 9:30am – 12 & Under Start time 9:30am

                     14 & Under Start time 9:30am    High School Start time 9:30am

                    Wrestling will take place on 5 mats in two gyms, each mat will have a bout tree.

Weigh-Ins: Friday July 23rd 6:30 to 8:30pm for all divisions at Kittatinny Reg. HS &

                        Saturday July 24th from 7:00 – 8:00am

Weight Classes:      The Madison System will be used to determine weight classes

                                    Matches will be 1-1-1 for 6, 8, 10, 12 & Under Div’s.

                                    1- 1:30 – 1:30 for the 14 & Under and High School Div’s. 

Medals for 1st through 3rd and there will an Outstanding Wrestler trophy for each division awarded when each division has been completed.

Cafeteria will be open, food and drinks will be served all day long, no food or drinks in gym.

            Round Robin   brackets may vary in size; each wrestler is guaranteed 3 matches.
